Widely recognized around the world, the Hario V60 Pour Over Dripper.
Hario V60 Dripper 01 Size for 1-2 cups of filter brewed coffee
Description
Crafted from heat-resistant plastic, it has a unique spiral pattern for optimum coffee extraction.
The Hario V60's unique design combines a 60-degree conical shape, spiral ridges, and a large single hole to give brewers precise control over the pour-over process, allowing for a remarkable range of flavors to be extracted from the coffee. The 60-degree cone shape ensures a consistent and rich flow of water through the grounds, while the large hole at the bottom allows the brewer to control the flow rate by adjusting the speed of their pour. The spiral ribs on the inside of the dripper prevent the paper filter from sticking to the ceramic, ensuring there are air passages for steam and preventing the grounds from getting compacted. This combination allows for a balance between a clean, flavorful cup, and a rich, full-bodied brew.
Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee with this modern and innovative Hario V60 dripper.
Create the perfect brew with this must-have coffee tool.

The Hario V60 pour-over coffee dripper received the Good Design Award in 2007.
This award recognizes the dripper's unique design and its ability to produce a high-quality, flavorful cup of coffee. The V60's conical shape, large single opening, and spiral ribs are key features that contribute to its distinct brewing process and the award-winning design.

How to Brew Using the Hario V60 Pour-Over
The Hario V60 is celebrated for its ability to brew clean, bright coffee. This quick guide uses a standard 1:16 ratio (25g coffee to 400g water).
Gear & Prep
-
Heat Water: Bring water to 90c-96c
-
Grind: Grind 25g of coffee to a medium-fine consistency (like coarse sand).
-
Rinse Filter: Place the paper filter in the V60, set it on your server and scale. Rinse the filter thoroughly with hot water to remove paper taste and preheat the equipment. Discard the rinse water.
- Dose: Add the 25g of ground coffee and level the bed. Zero your scale.
The Pouring Steps
| Time (approx.) | Action | Water Weight | Notes |
| 0:00 | Start Timer & Bloom | Pour to 50g | Pour in a small spiral, saturating all grounds. |
| 0:00 – 0:45 | Wait | Hold at 50g | Allow the coffee to "bloom" for 45 seconds. |
| 0:45 | Second Pour | Pour to 200g | Pour slowly in a spiral motion, avoiding the filter paper walls. |
| 1:30 | Third Pour | Pour to 300g | Use the same slow, circular motion. |
| 2:00 | Final Pour | Pour to 400g | Complete the pour to your final target weight. |
| 2:45 – 3:30 | Drawdown | Finish | Allow all the water to drip through. Remove the V60 and enjoy! |
Quick Tip for Consistency
If your total brew time is too long (over 3:30), your grind is too fine. If the time is too short (under 2:45), your grind is too coarse. Adjust the grind size slightly for the next brew.
