This precision diameter is engineered to fit snugly into most 58mm filter baskets (including popular VBM, La Marzocco, San Marco, La Cimbali and ECM baskets), minimizing the dreaded "side channeling" where water bypasses parts of the coffee puck. The result is a more even and complete extraction, leading to richer flavors, improved crema, and a consistently perfect shot, cup after glorious cup.
